Il ciclo “Islanda” parla dell’intimità famigliare in ambienti ostili, dove l’acqua in tutti i suoi stati fisici (dal ghiaccio fino al vapore dei geyser) domina e decide i confini del mondo umano. L’acqua è allo stesso tempo ambiente unico e simbolo principe della vita. In questo momento storico di conflitti sociali estremi si vuole onorare la rinascita e il ritorno costante alla vita stessa.

Island

The “Iceland” cycle talks about family intimacy in hostile environments, where water in all its physical states (from ice to the steam of geysers) dominates and decides the boundaries of the human world. Water is at the same time a unique environment and the main symbol of life. In this historical moment of extreme social conflicts I want to honor rebirth and the constant return to life itself.
